Sultry southern actor Shweta Menon was born on April 23, 1974 and turns 38 today. In spite of being four months pregnant, Shweta is committed to completing all her assignments before going on the sabbatical.
“I am being pampered by all my directors and producers. At this rate I could be pregnant forever,” quips Shweta in an interview to a daily. The actor is on seventh heaven in her current state. It was only last year she’d tied the knot to Sreevalsan Menon and late March 2012 she announced her pregnancy. While many directors and producers who’d cast her in lead roles were a little shocked and disappointed with the news, when Shweta promised to complete her projects before going on extended leave, they breathed a sigh of relief. Considering the actor did not even take a holiday post her wedding, it’s only understood that even her pregnancy is not going to stop her from acting. Some of the projects she has in hand include Parudeesa, Ithra Mathram, Ozhimuri, Akasmikam, Ivan Megharoopan among others.
